John is now offering private one-on-one video songwriting lessons via Skype. Work on one of your songs in an intimate session with this award-winning, internationally-reknowned songwriter.
BEFORE YOU START
*You have to have Skype on your computer and a Skype user name. DonâÂÂt worry, itâÂÂs a free program. Check out: http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/home
*You have to have video capability (i.e. a camera built into or plugged into your computer).
*Have at least one work-in-progress, in written and mp3 form, that you are able to email to John. He will let you know when and how to send it. neâÂÂll want it before your lesson.
*This is not a co-writing session. YouâÂÂll be working on your song(s).
*The better prepared and organized you are, the more can be accomplished.
TO GET STARTED
*Go to the Contact section of this site (http://www.folkmusic.com/contact). In the Subject Line put âÂÂSongwriting LessonâÂÂ. Select Lessons from the Category field. Send an message to the site with your name, phone, and email and a general description of when youâÂÂd like to arrange your lesson. Lessons will be scheduled to suit both your and JohnâÂÂs schedules.
*Each lesson is 45 minutes long. It will be a private, one-on-one session with John. You may record and/or video your lesson. Check out: http://www.ecamm.com/mac/callrecorder/
COST AND A DEAL
*The cost for each lesson is $95, $350 for a package of 4 lessons.
HereâÂÂs a wonderful opportunity to give something unique and useful to the aspiring songwriter in your life. There will be a limit on how many John is able to do each month, so itâÂÂs first-come-first served.
