I can't tell you how many times I've finished a soundcheck and, as the doors of the concert hall are opened to the public, the soundperson slaps on the latest AC/DC album for "walk in" music for the crowd. Even worse is when one of my own CDs gets played. Thanks to son Will's familiarity with the latest technologies I've started "burning" my own CD's (sounds like a throwback to censorship battles, huh?). What it allows me to do is to hand a customized CD to the sound crew and treat my audiences to music of my choice. The selections will be from my wide and weird library of recordings old and new. It'll change periodically and, if you hear something that catches your ear, the sound crew will always have a listing of what it is they're playing and this page will direct you to the specific album. This season's CD includes everything from the Bothy Band to Paul Robeson to Silvio Rodriguez to a really wacky Tahitian choir. Enjoy!
